Asturias Airport is 43 Km far from Oviedo. A taxi costs about 5.500 pts. Buses from the Airport to Oviedo are available after each flight.
Due to the scarce flight conections with Asturias, we advise you to book your flight in advance.By train:
Trains from Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, arrive at Oviedo train station, which is situated in the center of the city.By road:

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THE CONFERENCE ITSELF
During the morning of March 10th , an ASEBIR meeting will take place at the Congress site.
EXTRA-SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES
On March 10th 1999, a golf medal championship will take place at the Council Green of La Llorea (Gijón). Participant and accompanying persons are allowed to take part in it. You are required to have a federative license. Those interested in taking part are requested to inform the Congress Secretariat. The awards ceremony will take place during the closing dinner.
