T he village of Lastres lies on a steep cliff, it is an important fishing port which town centre descends to the harbour step by step. Impregnated of seafaring atmosphere display their doors and windows in the same colours as the fishing boats do. There are several beaches where you can enjoy your stay, such as the own beach of Lastres, La Isla beach (which has a tiny island to which you can access in low tides); La Espasa beach and Rodiles beach. All of them have lifeguard services and an easy access. Lastres is located strategically for those who want to know the different important locations on the centre-east of Asturias; Colunga, the capital of the district, Ribadesella, with its prehistoric caves of Tito Bustillo and the International Descent of the Sella river, Cangas de Onis, with its Roman bridge, Covadonga, Enol and Ercina lakes and the Mythical Picos de Europa Mountains, Villaviciosa, capital of the apple, district which has the biggest group of Pre-Romanesque and Romanesque buildings of the region.
